Wenda was in this week with some of the P6 and & children from Scripture Union to run their Christmas Post box. Children were able to send their Christmas cards and parcels to each other for 2p a card and 5p a parcel. The money raised this year was sent to the OiNK project with Asia Link. This project aims to buy piglets for families living in poverty in South East Asia in the hope that they can use the piglets to generate an income to buy basic essentials for the family. Thank you to everyone who sent cards and parcels and donated so generously. The total raised came to £242.90. This means Asia Link can buy and donate 7 piglets for the OiNK project.
