Carol Service

On the 13th and 14th December we welcomed parents, families and friends back to the assembly hall for our first carol service with everyone present since 2019. Our wonderful music club group began the service in style by playing 'Jingle Bells' and 'We wish you a Merry Christmas.' P1 and P2 then delighted us all with their version of the nativty featuring lots of amazing costumes and excelling reading and acting. P3 and P4 combined to read a poem entitled 'Long ago in Bethlehem' before singing 'It's Christmas' while P5, 6 and 7 sang 'O come, o come, Emannuel,' 'Christmas Hallelujah' and finally 'It feels like Christmas' from the Muppets Christmas Carol. All this happened alongside bible readings, carols and a closing prayer from Reverend Stewart and Reverend Baxter. Everyone had a great time and all the pupils made us very proud!
